Marion County GOP Announces Filing Period for County and Township Offices
Yellville, Ark. – The Marion County Republican Committee (MCRC) announced today that filing for county and township offices will begin at noon on Thursday, Feb. 22 and end noon on Thursday, March 1.
Candidates will file at the Carlton Marion Inn located at 309 West Old Main Street in Yellville. Please contact the Marion County Republican Committee Secretary, Carla Faison, at 513-515-1510 to make an appointment. A member of the local Republican Party will be present to accept candidate filing fees and provide appropriate forms.
After filing with the county Republican Party, candidates must provide written evidence of filing fee payment and additional paperwork to the Marion County Clerk (870-449-6226) before noon on Thursday, March 1.
