CHANGES
IN 2018 ELECTION


There will be some changes in the 2018 Election.  Changes include the establishing of Vote Center throughout county, school board elections being held in conjunction with the primary, and voter photo identification.   Please be aware that there will be 3 ballot types from which the voter can choose:

DEMOCRATIC (contains Democratic candidates, nonpartisan judicial candidates and school board elections)
REPUBLICAN (contains Republican candidates, nonpartisan judicial candidates and school board elections)
NONPARTISAN (this contains only the judicial and school board elections

All registered voters of Marion County can vote at ANY of the locations listed below.  All ballots will be on all machines just like it is for early voting at the Clerk’s Office.  Upon arrival the registered voter will need to state their name, address and date of birth for the poll worker to properly look them up on the electronic poll books.  This notifies Clerk’s Office immediately that the voter is voting.  Voter will then need to state what type of ballot they would like for voting:  Democratic, Republican or Nonpartisan.  Voters must provide photo ID (unless they are a nursing home or assisted living resident) at check-in.
