Republican Women of Marion County was established May, 2005.
The RWMC is affiliated with the Arkansas Federation of Republican Women (AFRW). The AFRW became affiliated with the National Federation of Republican Women in 1955. The NFRW was founded in 1948. The Arkansas Federation has sponsored campaign management schools and training for poll watchers and workers. Community service projects include donating money to the state's World War II memorial, sponsoring literacy programs and essay contests for school children, awarding two scholarships each year to high school seniors, and raising funds to support battered women and children and cancer research.
Members are from Boone, Baxter and Marion Counties. Age 18-40 to qualify as a Voting member, all others welcomed as associate members. The NCAYR are affiliated with the Arkansas Young Republicans which is an organization for young professionals in the Republican Party in Arkansas between the ages of 18 and 40. This organization is the future of the Republican Party.
