Believe it or not there was a wall at this event.  One side of the wall contained the Mexican dishes.  The other side contained the American dishes of food.

State Senator Scottt Flippo was the MC for the evening and as always did a fantastic job in keeping things running smoothly.  State  Representative, Jack Fortner spoke on various legislative issues that were of concern to the citizens that he had been hearing.  He provided an update to the guests.  Key Note Speaker, Lt. Governor Tim Griffin always gets the crowd stirred up with his humor.   He spoke about the importance of not just sitting
on the sidelines but getting involved and making a difference.

Chairman Anthony Todaro gave a report about the County Committee and events and meetings they have been attending.  Chairman Todaro spoike about the Republican Party of Arkansas meeting which he and State Committeeman and Committee Woman, Bob and Linda Zdora attended.  THe was very proud to have been awarded the Best Themed Event award for last year's Boots & BBQ.  Lots of hard work and planning goes into the events to make them fun, interesting and informational for the guests.

Benny Speaks from the Baxter County Republican Committee who is a member of the Ted Hobbs band entertained the crowd with great music.  At one point Lt. Governor Tim Griffin and Benny Speaks were singing together for the crowd.

It was a great event at the Bull Shoals VFW.  There was a great attendance and fun had by all.
